The low res was modeled with polygons using Maya, and sculpted the details in Zbrush.  The references came from overweight yet muscular male figures, mostly wrestlers. I used Autodesk Maya and to do the unwrapping of the UVs. 
The character was textured by hand using Photoshop.
The base mesh was modeled with polygons using Maya, and sculpted the details in Zbrush.  The character was created using a collection of different references on SWAT accessories and weapons.   
I used Maya and Headus UVlayout to do the unwrapping of the UVs. The character was textured in Photoshop using photos references and by hand painting from scratch. 
The low res was created in Maya with polygons, and detailed in Zbrush.  Refereces came from different types of repitles and animals. I used Maya and Headus UVlayout to do the unwrapping of the UVs.
The textures were hand painted using Photoshop.
This creature was based out of a concept design by Edelmiro Espinoza.
I created the low poly version in Maya, then sculpted the details in Zbrush.
